ABOLITION OF MEAT: WORLD WEEK FOR THE ABOLITION OF MEAT!

The call can also be read on line on this page. 22 to 29 September 2012: World Week for the Abolition of Meat The World Weeks for the Abolition of Meat of these past two years have allowed for a wide variety of actions to take place in more than 100 cities in a large number of countries:

the Bahamas, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, the Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Greece, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, South Africa, Switzerland, Turkey, the United States -– among others. Awareness actions, street performances, speeches, protest marches… Many people throughout the world thus raised their voices on behalf of the oppressed animals, expressing the idea that our societies have to abolish the killing of animals in order to consume their flesh.

A new World Week of actions will be taking place worldwide between September 22nd and 29th, 2012! The goal is to publicly express the necessity to abolish meat by increasing action on a local, national and global scale. We want to promote an open debate –- one which society has to accept without any taboo –- on the abolition of farming, hunting and fishing.

We therefore call on you to organise and announce here all actions which you will deem useful so as to collectively work to bring forward the day when no animal is murdered for the ridiculous reason of being used as food. We also call on you to spread the idea of the WWAMs to all people and organisations likely to be interested. Would you like to advance the worldwide promotion for the abolition of meat? – Support meat-abolition.org which receives no subsidies. -

Order activist materials: T-shirts, bags, pins, stickers and flyers . – Share resources. – Make a link to meat-abolition.org on your site . Because the production of meat involves killing the animals
