Bardarbunga (Iceland): The eruption continues with little variations. We flew over the fissure and could observe lava fountains still going strong from the main vents on the active fissure.
IMO reported that the lava erupted seems to be slightly less than the lava intruded at depth, as slight ongoing deformation revealed by GPS suggests.
The short answer is that most likely, the gasses released by this eruption will not present a big threat except in near downwind areas of the eruption.

No changes have occurred. The eruption continues at similar levels as during the past days. The flows are now more than 16 km long.
